Palo Santo Sticks with Herbs
Palo Santo trees grow in the forests of South America largely in Ecuador & Peru. In Spanish, the name Palo Santo means ‘Holy Wood’ and is a tree with many benefits, belonging to the same plant family which produces frankincense, myrrh & copal.
The smoke of Palo Santo incense, bringing sweet notes of pine, mint and lemon, is a great way to clear stagnant energies & freshen the air in your living spaces. The presence of the sweet smoke aids in keeping energies ground and clear which is also helpful in preparation for meditations & connecting to Spirit.
These Palo Santo incense sticks are dipped in organic beeswax & rolled in different herbs such as lavender, cornflowers and roses. These sticks are sourced in a sustainably harvested manner from a forest preserve in Ecuador where thousands of trees have been planted back into the area over the last decade.
To Use:
Use a lighter or match to carefully light the tip of your Palo Santo stick. Please note the ends may produce a larger flame at first due to the organic beeswax; the flame will decrease as the wax melts. Be sure to blow out the flame to allow the Palo Santo to burn lightly. It will not burn down completely like typical incense sticks as it can be re-used after the embers are extinguished. Similar to sage sticks, with caution, you may walk through your living space(s) with the Palo Santo to clear & cleanse the energies as needed, stating your intention verbally or internally, bringing peace & clarity to your home.
** NOTE ** Please always use caution when working with fire & utilize fire-safe dishes or vessels for burning Palo Santo and other incenses.
